Description: This class explores the use of satellite imagery for landscape interpretation using computer software to digitally manipulate and display the image data. The first part of the class will cover some of the basics of satellites and imaging. The remainder will cover image processing for landscape interpretation. The class will be a mixture of lecture and computer work.
